Due to having such a broad brief, I had a lot of creative freedom to explore different ideas and pick the one which I felt I could bring to life the best. Therefore, I have decided to base my project around how people's perceptions of the world can be warped. I will showcase this in the unique and interesting style of surrealism as I believe that the different aspects of it will be helpful in portraying my intended effect. I will mainly incorporate these aspects during the editing stage, except having a high shutter speed as this is a commonly used technique in surrealism which I believe will fit my idea very well. My concept includes producing a series of photographs that demonstrate the difference that mental health issues make during the everyday life. The main one I will be focusing on is paranoia as I feel as if the idea of surrealism as a whole incorporates this well.
